Matgenix becomes a member of the MecaTech cluster

The MecaTech cluster is a powerful engine for innovation and economic growth. The cluster is a catalyst for building up new collaborations and projects between its members and with external partners.

With more than 300 members, the MecaTech cluster is a real economic driver in Wallonia. By gathering SME’s with large companies, academic institutions and research centers, the MecaTech cluster is fostering innovation and collaboration on all kinds of projects related to materials and surfaces, microtechnologies and mechatronics, intelligent maintenance, … Moreover, the cluster has a large international network, with the potential to reach out to hundreds of future partners and customers.

David Waroquiers and Gian-Marco Rignanese met with Carsten Engel from the MecaTech cluster at A6K, the new technology center in Charleroi (see picture). Carsten Engel is supporting the cluster members in their research and development challenges. We exchanged our ideas and presented what we do. “We are going to do great things together” replied Carsten Engel. “With the expertise, the tools and techniques that you developed, I see a whole lot of companies that could benefit from collaborating with Matgenix”.
